Parents Alison Spooner and Dean Durrant have been blessed with two sets of twins, remarkable for being biracial in exactly the same way, despite being born seven years apart. Dean, of West Indian descent, has dark skin and hair, contrasting with Alison, who has white skin, blue eyes, and red hair. When their first pair of twin daughters arrived in 2001, they expected them to be of mixed race.
